Gorgopotamos village is a historical place where nature thrives. The main characteristics of the area are the luscious forest, the well-known river and the historical bridge. Therefore the main goal of this project is to highlight all these characteristics so as to attract more visitors to enjoy the scenery. The project includes the designing of different sitting areas that expand into the forest, the creation of new routes and paths that lead the visitor through the forest to the river and to an upper sitting area that offers impressive views to the surroundings. After the occurrence of some planned construction works in order to install the new pipes of water supply for the city of Lamia and the wider region, the area is in imperative need of redevelopment, so our main goal was to design specific frameworks that will cover the water supply pipes and at the same to create bridges that will make accessible parts of the forest that are now difficult to approach. These features combined produce the final result of a synthesis that blends in with the environment.
